This workshop is for high school and college students, and will include comedy audition and scene study techniques. Actors should bring a monologue or two they’d like to work on – we will provide additional scenes to work on as well!

Bob Sorenson, who recently directed Greasepaint’s production of Urinetown and is now directing Spring Awakening, has four decades of impressive acting and directing experience. He has been involved in hundreds of plays, films and television shows including I Am My Own Wife, The Pajama Game, and recurring roles on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire and NBC’s Law and Order! Bob’s awards include: Eight AriZoni Best Actor awards, New Times Best of Phoenix award, Critics Circle award for best actor, and The National Society Of Arts And letters Outstanding Achievement award for acting and directing.
